Estia's services requires substantial funding, to cover the cost of staffing, training, equipment, maintenance and repair of facilities, vehicle expenses, food and supplies, and quality outings for our service users. Approximately 80% of all expenditures are towards direct service delivery and facilities. Today, most of these operating costs are recovered from the National Disabilities Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

However, government funding has not been sufficient to enable us to grow our services and make investments in land, buildings and equipment. In our 23 year history we have only been able to grow the organization and accumulate funds and property through the generosity of our supporters and their willingness to make a difference to the lives of others. The generosity of our supporters has enabled us to establish our facilities in Gladesville, North Ryde and Roselands. More recently we have taken on the administration of the Kyle Williams Home Trust in Blakehurst and need to raise considerable capital for the vision for this estate to be realized and extend our services to meet the demand in the community.

Estia is also fortunate to have a strong fundraising committee who work voluntarily to organize our biennial fundraising dinner to obtain financial support from the community. All proceeds go to extending the services of Estia, and in encouraging and enhancing skills our service users may have in order to improve their lifestyle and give them an assurance that they have a place in our community.
